Kirkby Leisure Centre

Kirkby Leisure Centre is a relatively new state of the art facility opened in September 2007 and is located within walking distance of Kirkby Town Centre.

Facilities include; a 25 metre swimming pool, a children's pool, 4 badminton court sports hall, x 3 large multi activity rooms, sauna/steam suite, x 2 multi -use games areas outdoor and the Active Fitness Suite over 2 floors.

Kirkby Leisure Centre offers a wide range of courses and classes including a variety of aerobic classes, swimming lessons, junior sports clubs, martial arts and various other activities, designed to help all ages get the most from their leisure time. The Active Fitness Suite has state of the art Fitness equipment with over 80 stations all designed for you to work out smarter not harder.

Under 8s Admission Policy
All children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied in the water at all times by a responsible person aged 16 years or over. The responsible person can accompany a maximum number of 2 children between the ages of 4 to 7 years of age and must maintain a constant watch over the children for whom they are responsible and maintain close contact with those children whether they are swimmers or non swimmers.

Children under 4 years must be accompanied in the water at all times by a responsible person 16 years & over on the basis of 1 responsible person to 1 child ratio.
