Halton Primary Care Trust now has a patient advice liaison service available to assist with any concerns you may have with the healthcare you are receiving in Halton. The service aims to: advise and support patients, their families and carers provide information on NHS services listen to your concerns, suggestions or queries help sort out problems quickly on your behalf This service is confidential. You can telephone the Customer Care Unit on free phone: 0800 849 7088.

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is part of the Customer Care Unit and provides a confidential service to patients, their carers and families. The unit offers on the spot help, advice and support and can help you to sort out any problems or concerns you may have about the care we provide. The Customer Care Unit is here to guide you through the different services available from the NHS.

The service aims to:

advise and support patients, their families and carers
provide information on NHS services
listen to your concerns, suggestions or queries
help sort out problems quickly on your behalf
pass on any compliments you may have to the relevant department

The Customer Care Unit is normally available Monday to Friday, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. Outside of these hours an answerphone service will be available.
